Currently in Season | Clipped Hydrangea

Take a closer look at each intaglio’s story…

Clipped Hydrangea | From our summer series, hydrangeas carry the spirit of summer in the way they unfold slowly and generously, spilling over a white picket fence and pathways like clouds of blue, cream, and faded green. A hydrangea bush feels less like a flower and more like a season in full expression. Linen Backing | Morning Dew

Mast Year | Our autumn intaglio features the mighty oak tree and its acorn. A part of the quintessential color palette to autumn's annual painting of gold, rust and caramel foliage, our beloved fall would be lost without the mighty Oak.

When oak trees produce a large amount of acorns during the fall season, it's called a "mast year." This can happen every 2–5 years. During a mast year, oak trees may drop thousands of acorns resulting in an over abundance of food for squirrels and chipmunks alike. This is the tree's attempt at planting more oak trees.

After all, as the saying goes "Mighty oaks from little acorns grow." Linen Backing | Russet

North Woods | From our winter series, the pine tree feels like nature’s way of carrying the holidays through the winter season. Steadfast, fragrant, and alive when the rest of the garden sleeps. Its evergreen branches and pinecones become a symbol of endurance and warmth, reminding us that even in the coldest season, life still gathers softly beneath the frost. Linen Backing | Evergreen
