Gardening by moon phases is an age old practice rooted in the belief that the moon's gravitational pull influences the moisture in the soil and plant growth. During a waning crescent in particular, planting underground crops such as root vegetables and bulbs is recommended. These dew drop structures with their papery skins are rooted in Autumn, best to be planted under the glow of the crescent moon.

Another gorgeous piece to add to our linen ornament collection.
